Sent to make Christ known.

Jesus commands, 'As my Father has sent me, so I send you'.  John 20:21

Sent to Make Christ Known

We are SENT to make Christ known in word and deed into our homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, schools, and everyday lives to represent Him for the sake of the world.  We encourage one another to reach out to others by investing in their lives and inviting them to Christ and his church.

Being witnesses and servants is our calling as disciples who are obedient to Christ’s command, “So if I, your Lord and teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have set you an example, that you also should do as I have done to you. Very truly, I tell you, servants are not greater than their Master, nor are messengers greater than the one who sent them” (John 13:14-16).

We reach beyond the walls of the church, serving the needy and hurting in our immediate community as well as the world. This is faith active in love.

Lantern Hill School
Lantern Hill is an educational and food program outside of Ensenada, Mexico. In this small agricultural community, many children drop out of school early to work and help the family survive. Lantern Hill seeks to break the cycle of poverty by enabling students to remain in school so they can graduate from high school and even receive a scholarship to college. Students attend Lantern Hill three days a week. They receive tutoring, homework help, books to read, a healthy meal, a safe place to play, backpacks, school supplies, tuition for high school, and a summer enrichment program. High school and college students give back by volunteering with the younger students. Thank you for your generous support of the students at Lantern Hill. Your gifts make all the difference!
